Overview

Northwood Technical College seeks an instructor for the Medical Laboratory Technician program starting in the Fall 2025 semester at the New Richmond Campus.

 

The Medical Laboratory Technician program is a 2-year program that prepares students to perform medical laboratory tests to aid the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. This instructional position will be based at Northwood Technical College, at the newly designed and equipped Medical Laboratory Education Center in New Richmond, Wisconsin. A key component will be the development/implementation of Medical Laboratory Technician Courses. The instructor will work directly with the Program Director to ensure technical program standards and student outcomes are met. 

 

Northwood Tech Instructors teach in a discipline area in which they have specific training and competence. Instructors teach in a variety of learning environments including face-to-face, online, web-conferencing, and hybrid classrooms. Qualifications

Faculty Grade B
Degree & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • ASCP-BOC Medical Laboratory Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist
  • A minimum of two years (4,000 hours) of occupational experience of which at least one year (2,000 hours) shall be within 5 years prior to the date of appointment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to obtain driver’s license and insurance coverage in accordance with college policy

Salary

FY26 Salary - Faculty Grade B - $66,096 / year
